Mt Crichton is another of our less-travelled locations, which always makes it that little bit more exciting – who doesn’t love discovering something new and beautiful for the first time? Mt Crichton has an ever-changing landscape due to the elevation of our landing spot, at almost 6,000ft hight. This gives us a huge view across to the range of mountains and peaks lining the western-side of the lake, and down the lake itself. The altitude makes Mt Crichton one of the snowier local peaks that we fly to, with a great snow base in winter and going into spring. It is also a beautiful spot for early evening flights, for those wanting to watch the colours in the sky change as the sun dips below the mountains.

We can also fly to Lake Isobel if you prefer, a small alpine lake that sits at about 5,200ft that backs on to the towering summit above.
