Earnslaw Burn Wedding | Toni + Nick
Toni and Nick planned a beautiful intimate celebration including flights to Earnslaw Burn and Lake Erskine for their wedding in Queenstown. We organised a sweet First Look in a clearing near their accommodation, with family watching on making it a totally cute moment! From there, we stole the bride and groom away for our mountain adventure before the ceremony and party kicked in!
We flew out to Lake Erskine where we had plenty of beautiful landscapes and angles to play around with, including the waterfall that runs down the side of the mountain and made for some very cool and unique perspectives. From there, we went on to Earnslaw Burn. As we were doing things in a reverse order to the typical flow of the day, with a mid-morning flight before the ceremony, making for a seamless afternoon of celebrations, food and drink, we were welcomed into a fully sun-lit valley at Earnslaw Burn. A different feeling to usual, as the cliff-side throws the valley into shade for most of the day in summer! Here, the breeze played havoc with Toni's veil but in the most comical (and romantic!) way, making for some awesome moments. The dozens of cascading waterfalls were also incredible to watch, hear and capture.
After our helicopter adventure, we headed back to Glenfiddich Lodge to make things official with family and friends watching on at the ceremony. Toni and Nick organised an epic grazing platter and cheese cake for the afternoon and there were nothing but good vibes to enjoy on this summer afternoon!
Congratulations again, Toni and Nick!! We loved hanging out with you and exploring our mountains a little differently to usual! Wishing you and your fur-babies all the best for everything, with loads of love, laughter and adventures ❤️ xx

The Best Queenstown Wedding | Candace + Anthony
Candace and Anthony had the best Queenstown wedding adventure! Okay...so, we're a little biased here, but it was Warren's little sister's wedding! We were stoked when they told us they wanted to plan an intimate wedding in Queenstown with just their immediate families. And even more happy and honoured to help look after the planning and photography of their day.
Candace and Anthony chose to have their wedding ceremony at Chapel by the Lake, Stoneridge Estate. It was the perfect combination of beautiful gardens, an awesome lake/mountain view and the summer vibes with blue skies and bees buzzing around. Shortly afterwards, it was time to share our adventure lifestyle around, so we jumped on a much-anticipated chopper ride! We flew across to Lake Erskine in the Fiordland National Park, and then had a second landing on The Ridge at Cecil Peak.
Once the newly-weds were back at ground level, we joined the rest of the family celebrating the afternoon away with lawn games and drinks. Afterwards, we had a delicious dinner in the cosy Board Room. Watching the sun go down and light up the picture window was mesmerising, and before long the fire lanterns around Stoneridge Estate were lit for that extra touch of magic.
One month later, we headed over to their home on the other side of the ditch...Melbourne, Australia. Candace and Anthony had a wedding party with their friends and extended Aussie family back home, which was a fantastic wedding combination: An intimate destination wedding plus an epic rager back home. 😆
Congrats!!
Congratulations again, Candace and Anthony! We were so thrilled to be involved in your wedding day and we honestly find a new favourite photo every time we reminisce on that gorgeous summer's day. Thanks for being awesome and letting us share our slice of the world with you both. We love you both and know that you will have an incredible and joyful year ahead, with a new kind of adventure. 🥰 xx
A special shout out to the legends of the Queenstown wedding industry that came together to help us create Candace and Anthony's perfect day.

Queenstown Elopement Package | Katie + Paul
Katie and Paul came across our Queenstown elopement packages as they were researching eloping from the UK. We had a sweet First Look and some photos with their gorgeous little one, Esme, at their Air BnB in Dalefield. With an expansive field overlooking Coronet Peak, there was plenty of space to have the chopper call in and pick us up! Shortly afterwards we were arriving at the serene Lake Erskine to officially get Katie and Paul hitched. Their ceremony had beautiful, personal vows and also included a water blessing, using the pure alpine water from Lake Erskine itself.
Afterwards, we adventured around the rocky platform looking out to Fiordland before hanging out by the lake again. We also had some Kea visit us, and the beautiful Mount Cook daisies in bloom at Lake Erskine. With a second landing at The Ledge, we popped some champagne and enjoyed the late afternoon sunlight. Heading back to the Air BnB, we had to make the most of golden hour in the paddocks! Katie and Paul jumped on some massive hay bales and danced around in the golden grass - a very happy way to finish their wedding day!
A big big congratulations to you both, Katie and Paul! We loved being a part of your Queenstown elopement and meeting your adorable family! Thank you for spending the day with us and we wish you the absolute best for your bright futures ahead 💕 xx

New Zealand Elopement | Kayla + Andrew
Kayla and Andrew decided to jump on a plane and fly across the Pacific Ocean for their New Zealand elopement. Living and working in Nashville, the pair love hiking and the outdoors. So, a low-key elopement in New Zealand with some beautiful outdoor landscapes was just the ticket for their sweet family.
With weather coming in on their original wedding day, we changed plans and opted for a sunrise wedding a few days earlier. After a lovely First Look at their accommodation, we jumped in a helicopter to one of our favourites, Lake Erskine. The early morning light and calm weather combined for a stunning morning on the mountain. The colours of the water were at their best, and we were lucky enough to catch some of the alpine daisies in bloom, too!
Kayla had a beautiful dress custom-designed by Anomalie in California. Meanwhile, Kayla's son Finley was dressed in an awesome bright red suit. Andrew was very dapper in a blue suit jacket and tan trousers. While we were roaming around capturing beautiful portraits of the newly official husband and wife, Finley was exploring around the mountain with our pilot! After our mountain adventure, we had a few lovely moments down at the lakeside.
Congratulations again, Kayla and Andrew! We loved helping create your dream elopement. We are so thankful that you were happy to work with our crazy ideas, to get you married the day after you landed in Queenstown!!! 😍❤️ xx

Queenstown Mountain Wedding | Sophia + Yuan
Sophia and Yuan chose to have their very own Queenstown mountain wedding, after previously travelling around and falling in love with New Zealand.
We had a sweet First Look at the their accommodation, at the Hilton lakefront. Then, we jumped in the chopper and flew out to Lake Erskine. We were set to have an incredible adventure out to the untouched wilderness of the Southern Alps. We had a stunning view on approach, with the tiny lake growing into a very real dream in front of us. Officially married, we then set off right away to adventure and soak up the pristine colours of the lake. Sophia and Yuan both had a sip of the alpine fresh water, too...We know it will have been some of the purest water (and coldest!) they have tasted! We then popped some champagne and did a little more rock climbing. Sophia did incredible well, considering she was wearing block heels! Afterwards, we headed up The Remarkables for a few last photos in the warm sunshine.
Sophia had an absolutely beautiful lacey dress with a pearled comb for her hair. Paired with a sweet pink bouquet and delicate jewellery, she was a picture of perfect. Yuan himself had an immaculate checkered suit with polka tie and a tidy buttonhole - looking very stylish!
Congratulations again Sophia and Yuan! We are still awed at the beauty of Lake Erskine and the unforgettable colours of the lake on your wedding day. Thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding!! xx

Queenstown Elopement Adventure | Jessica + Joseph
Jessica and Joseph travelled over to New Zealand from Malaysia to elope amongst the gorgeous mountains of Queenstown. They are both pilots for Air Asia / Air Asia X, so it was pretty neat that they chose a wedding where their main mode of transport is to fly!
On their wedding day, we had some persistent low cloud sitting around, we held off the flight for several hours, before going late in the day. We landed lower down on Cecil Peak, which still looked great above Lake Wakatipu. The following day, Jessica and Joseph got ready all over again, and we made a second flight out to the original planned location of Lake Erskine. The conditions were epic, with the lake frozen over, and a fresh dump of snow on top. It was so bright my eyes were burning for the next couple of days.
Well done Jessica and Joseph, and thanks for your incredible patience and adventure to two sweet locations! xx

Queenstown Mountain Weddings | Sinead + David
Sinead and David flew over from Australia to elope at our favourite location, Lake Erskine.
The lake was absolutely magical, with perfect reflections across the rich blue, glacial melt.
We then made our way to the Humboldts for a grassy landing with views up the northern reaches of Lake Wakatipu.
Sinead and David also brought along their two young children, who had a blast on the mountains, and superb babysitting skills from Charlotte and Craig.
Thanks again for an incredible adventure! xx

Lake Erskine Queenstown Wedding | Alice + Gordon
What more can you say about Alice & Gordon's wedding, when they eloped amongst the most beautiful scenery of New Zealand (and of the world right?!)
Lake Erskine is our favourite place to visit, and after some snow it's absolutely delightful.
A fair bit of planning went into the location, timing and day to work around some sketchy weather, but we found the perfect break. We were pretty stoked with how it all turned out, with a morning departure, with the sun just high enough above the eastern ridgeline to light up the lake into its magical emerald colour.
Once back on the ground, we made a short drive out of Queenstown for a quiet and often missed beach for a few last shots.
Congrats again Alice + Gordon! xx
